The Paratus Report, Episode 11

The newest episode of the Coast Guard Paratus Report is now live! The Paratus Report is a workforce news program focused at keeping Coast Guard members informed of what’s happening throughout their Coast Guard. The episode will air monthly on the official Coast Guard YouTube channel, and a brief recap with additional information will be provided right here on Coast Guard All Hands.

This month’s episode covered the following:

Policy Change for Transgender Members
The Coast Guard has set up a Service Central Coordination center to provide transgender members and prospective members a way to ask questions and find information about the new policy changes.

Progress of the Coast Guard
Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Paul Zukunft gave a brief overview of the Strategic Intent and the recently released Mid-Term Report.

Bravo Zulu
Lt. Cmdr. Megan Drewniak was recognized as the 2016 Military Times Coast Guardsman of the Year for her inspirational leadership, mentorship, motivation of others and volunteerism.
