Make your voice heard! The Assignment Priority Survey has been sent to all enlisted E-4 to E-9 via email. Assignment Priorities haven’t been changed in 18 years. It is imperative that you provide your feedback to help this effort! The Assignment Priority survey is only 12 questions and can be completed in 5-10 minutes. It is due by Dec. 31, 2016. Search your inbox for this important email, which may be critical to your career!
It’s that time of year again – time to submit your nominations for Enlisted Person of the Year, both from the active duty and reserve components! Award submissions must go through your local command to the District Gold Badge CMCs. This is an extremely important recognition and all commands are encouraged to submit deserving members. The Officer Evaluation System (OES) Review was an initiative under the Commandant’s Human Capital Strategy (HCS), and the main goal was to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the evaluation process and system. As a result of this review, all OER forms for junior officers, senior officers and warrant officer have been shortened and many requirements have been eliminated to improve the ease with which supervisors can report on their subordinates. The active duty and the reserve officer corps as well as civilian supervisors of military officers must become informed of these changes and the new guidelines for evaluating officers.
