LONG TERM:

E5/E6 – Dec. 15, 2018 – Nov. 30, 2019 – Camp Lejeune, North Carolina
Direct Access Request: # 10000212-10002– Potential further extension into FY19. 

This position is in support of the special missions training center.

Required: (1) Familiarity with port security operations (2) must be currently certified in Coast Guard small arms to include, Sig 229DAK, M16/M4, M870 shotgun.

Duties include:  (1) Function as an instructor with the special missions training center port security unit (PSU) basic skills course (SMTC) (2) supervise, coordinate, teach, track and train up to 140 students annually ranging from lecture format, to weapons training, scenario-based training, training students on force on force with the use of marking cartridge,(3) instruction of varying topics; including but not limited to, entry control points, CBRN, patrolling, individual movement techniques, land navigation, machine gun mounts, self aid/buddy aid/tactical combat casualty care (TCCC), and machine guns to include the M240. caliber machine gun and the M2HB .50 caliber machine gun.

Desired skill set: (1) In depth working knowledge and familiarity with port security operations. (2) Currently certified as a Coast Guard instructor (PERJC), (3) currently certified in all Coast Guard small arms to include M240B machine gun, M2HB .50 caliber machine gun, Sig 229DAK, M16/M4, M870 shotgun, TCCC instructor (4) graduate of CBRN school (Ft. Dix or FT Leonardwood), (5) graduate of PSU basic skills course, JUFE administrator, and law enforcement instructor (LEI).
