General Messages Weekly Roundup

All Hands selects several messages to publish in a weekly post to help raise awareness about specific messages and useful information for Coast Guard members.

ALCOAST 317/18 – SEP 2018 COAST GUARD PARTNERSHIP IN EDUCATION (CG PIE) PROGRAM AWARDS
This ALCOAST announces the winners of the Coast Guard Partnership in Education Awards. Best unit partnership, best collaborative partnership, sustained excellence in CG PIE and PIE coordinator of the year categories were awarded.

ALCOAST 316/18 – SEP 2018 NATIONAL HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH
The theme for National Hispanic Heritage Month 2018, observed Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, is “Hispanics: One Endless Voice to Enhance Our Traditions.”This refrain spotlights a rich and unique heritage manifested collectively in Hispanic voices, traditions, history and culture.

ALCOAST 315/18 – SEP 2018 SOLICITATION FOR THE 2019 CG ENGINEER OF THE YEAR AWARD
This ALCOST solicits for nominations for the Coast Guard Engineer of the Year award. The purpose of this program is to provide recognition for the outstanding accomplishments of engineers, military and civilian, within the Coast Guard and the entire federal government.
