Paratus Report: June 2018, episode 2

The newest episode of the Coast Guard Paratus Report is now live! The Paratus Report is a workforce news program focused at keeping Coast Guard members informed of what’s happening throughout their Coast Guard. The program is scheduled to air twice a month on the official Coast Guard YouTube channel, and right here on Coast Guard All Hands.

Welcoming new senior leadership

The Coast Guard welcomed its new senior leadership in recent change of command and change of watch ceremonies. Adm. Karl Schultz, Adm. Charles Ray and Master Chief Petty Officer Jason Vanderhaden took the helm.

Recognizing longevity at sea

The Coast Guard also recognized the officer and enlisted persons with the earliest designation as a permanent cutterman with the title “Ancient Mariner.” Cmdr. Stephen Matadobra became the 15th Gold Ancient Mariner, and Master Chief Petty Officer Matthew Coppola became the 13th Silver Ancient Mariner.
