Paratus Report: April 2017, Episode 2

The newest episode of the Coast Guard Paratus Report is now live! The Paratus Report is a workforce news program focused at keeping Coast Guard members informed of what’s happening throughout their Coast Guard. The episode will air monthly on the official Coast Guard YouTube channel, and right here on Coast Guard All Hands with additional information.

Coast Guard Maritime Security Response Team –

The Coast Guard’s Maritime Security Response Team (MSRT) supports six of the 11 Coast Guard missions, while primarily serving as the Department of Homeland Security’s maritime law enforcement counterterrorism unit. Senior Chief Petty Officer Daniel Barefield, maritime enforcement specialist, with the MSRT located in Chesapeake, Va. talks about their tasks, training, and teamwork.

2016 Chief Photo Journalist Alex Haley Award –

Congratulations to all the winners of the Chief Journalist Alex Haley Award! This annual award recognizes achievements of individual authors, photographers, and videographers whose published works have helped raise the visibility of the Coast Guard. To see all the award winners, click here.
